The one-way AREX ticket is slightly complicated to redeem. You have to download the DSP app, scan the QR code(s) of your card(s), retrieve the AREX ticket no(s). from the app in order to redeem at the AREX ticket counter. Staff there were not very friendly/helpful :( You can top up money & use the DSP as T-money for metro/bus transport throughout Seoul. The 48 hrs only start when you redeem your first attraction out of the listed 36 attractions (excldg AREX & T-money). Our first was redeemed on a Friday night 7.20pm, hence we could cover our chosen attractions right up to Sunday, 7.19pm. Quite impossible to cover so many attractions within so limited time. In the end we only redeemed 9 attractions, ie Trickeye, TESEUM, City Tour bus, drinks at Namsangol Hanok, N Seoul Tower, Hanbok Experience, Sightseeing double decker bus, Gyeongbokgung & Changdeokgung! Plan well & make use of the hop on, hop off buses to get direct access to the attractions. If you have the time & budget, go for the 72-hr pass. Best decision for a great holiday in Seoul!
